{"id":46076,"date":"2025-10-23T13:06:00","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T11:06:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.epcsrl.eu\/?post_type=portfolio_page&#038;p=46076"},"modified":"2025-12-18T10:50:46","modified_gmt":"2025-12-18T09:50:46","slug":"support-for-communication-and-coordination-of-the-to-care-med-project","status":"publish","type":"portfolio_page","link":"https:\/\/www.epcsrl.eu\/en\/portfolio_page\/support-for-communication-and-coordination-of-the-to-care-med-project\/","title":{"rendered":"Support for communication and coordination of the TO CARE MED project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Support for the Project Communication and Project Management of the &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tocaremed.interreg-euro-med.eu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TO CARE MED<\/a> project &#8211; Transferring Tourism Carrying Capacity Tool TO CARE about Sustainability of MED ecotourism strategies, plans, products and services, funded under the Interreg Euro-MED Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The TO CARE MED project addresses the challenges of tourist overcrowding by transferring the Tourism Carrying Capacity Limit (TCCL) tool and methodology to ecotourism destinations, previously developed by Ca&#8217; Foscari University of Venice in the previous ALTERECO project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through cooperation, TO CARE MED promotes destination working groups to share practices transnationally and co-design services and products that improve the overall sustainability of ecotourism at the local level. This approach goes beyond existing practices, providing a flexible, data-driven tool that adapts to different conditions and tourist behaviors. It helps balance ecotourism offerings with environmental conservation and local community well-being, promoting sustainable tourism practices.
