We are pleased and proud to announce that the RETES<\/a> project \u2014 Resilience Enhancement in Tourism through Education and Skills<\/em> \u2014 conceived, developed and submitted by our team, has officially been selected for funding under the prestigious Erasmus+ KA220-VET programme for Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This important milestone rewards EPC<\/a> S.r.l.\u2019s experience and expertise in European project development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The achievement represents not only recognition of the work carried out, but also a strategic opportunity to lead an international network in developing advanced skills in key areas such as civil protection and emergency management within the tourism sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Figures Behind the Success: A Score of 96 out of 100<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Erasmus+ KA220-VET call is renowned for its exceptionally high level of competition at both national and European level. The Erasmus+ National Agency INAPP assessed more than 220 applications, and RETES was among only 21 projects approved in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The excellence and strength of the proposal submitted by EPC S.r.l. were confirmed by the outstanding score awarded by the evaluators: 96 out of 100. This result demonstrates the high value of the planned activities and the methodological quality of the project structure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, which officially began on 1 December 2025, will run for two years and has been allocated a total budget of \u20ac400,000, entirely dedicated to the development of innovative training models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RETES Objectives: Training and Civil Protection for the Tourism Sector<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The tourism sector currently faces unprecedented global challenges, ranging from climate change and health emergencies to natural and human-induced risks. In this context, the preparedness and response capacity of tourism operators are becoming crucial factors for the survival and recovery of destinations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The core objective of RETES is to strengthen resilience within the tourism sector. Through vocational education and training pathways, the initiative aims to address existing skills gaps by providing managers, professionals and operators with the necessary tools to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • prevent and manage complex emergency scenarios;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • implement civil protection plans specifically designed for accommodation facilities and tourism destinations;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • promote the safe and sustainable development of destinations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    A Transnational Partnership Led by EPC S.r.l.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    The complexity of today\u2019s challenges requires a multidisciplinary approach and strong international cooperation. As lead partner and coordinator, EPC S.r.l. will guide a high-level consortium bringing together seven organisations from five European countries:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
