The beginning of autumn is always a particularly busy period in the world of European projects, filled with meeting and coordination activities. This year was no exception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
At EPC<\/a>, we are always pleased when these occasions take us across Italy and Europe, giving us the opportunity to meet our partners, clients and professionals from a wide range of sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This time, we started close to home with an in-person partnership meeting for the LIFE Svolta Blu<\/a> project \u2013 \u201cA voluntary credit system to promote water saving and conservation\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The meeting was held on 18 September at the headquarters of ViAcqua S.p.A. EPC was represented by Francesca Borga and Federica Piccolo, who are responsible for providing support services to the project\u2019s lead partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A few days later, on 23 and 24 September, Mauro Borin travelled to Lecce to participate in the Project Meeting and Mid-Term Review of the ALIENA project<\/a> \u2013 \u201cALIigning Efforts to control Non-indigenous species in the Adriatic Sea\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n ALIENA is an Interreg Italy\u2013Croatia project for which EPC provides technical assistance to the lead partner, the Apulia Region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As with many other Interreg initiatives, Italy\u2013Croatia projects include a review meeting with Programme representatives around the halfway point of their implementation. The purpose of these meetings is to identify possible difficulties or risks related to the implementation of project activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In these cases, EPC experts support the project coordinator and partners in organising and managing the review process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A few days later, it was the turn of another Interreg Italy\u2013Croatia project: CYROS<\/a> \u2013 \u201cAdriatic-Ionian Cycle Route for Sustainable Tourism\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The project meeting was held in Abruzzo on 29 and 30 September to review the progress of the activities. CYROS focuses on the development of a cross-border cycle route in the Adriatic-Ionian area and on promoting sustainable tourism through integrated mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\nLIFE Svolta Blu Partnership Event<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n
