Founded in 2006, EPC is in continuously evolution to constantly improve its technical competitiveness and its relationship net in Italy but also abroad.
From 2010 EPC was also operational in Brussels with its own consultants that can follow different development opportunities closely at the local level. In 2011 EPC activated a new area dedicated to business support by gathering funds dedicated to development and research projects by means of access to special terms provided by the European Community, the State and other regions. On 4th December 2014 the European Commission – DG Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection – has approved the European project CP4ALL written and proposed by EPC srl.
EPC srl, the project leader, has gathered a high quality partnership: the Bulgarian Science Academy, the European University of Cipro, the municipality of Idrija in Slovenia, the Centre for Social Welfare of Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, the Italian Regional Centre of Study and Formation for prevention in the field of Civil Protection and Mancomunidad Integral Sierra de San Pedro in Spain. They will collaborate in order to give a concrete contribute to the training of operators who will support Civil Protection and Red Cross in helping and supporting the population in case of emergencies and natural disasters.
During the emergencies, indeed, the needs of specific categories of citizens are not taken into consideration and tackled because there aren’t dedicated procedures and plans and not even practical competences in the intervention teams.
