One month ago, the second transnational meeting of the EcoMystery project took place in Kavala, Greece, hosted by Bluechain Research Cooperative and Social Nebula. For the EPC – European Project Consulting team, as project coordinator, the meeting represented an important milestone for advancing activities and strengthening cooperation within the European consortium.
Over the two days of work, partners defined key elements of the project, with a particular focus on the development of training programmes for teachers and students, which will serve as the basis for introducing innovative approaches to environmental education and climate awareness in schools. Discussions focused on content, methodologies, and teaching tools, with the aim of ensuring accessible, engaging, and coherent learning pathways that reflect the needs identified during the initial analysis phase.
Another central moment of the meeting was the presentation of the EcoMystery platform, which will host the educational escape rooms designed to engage young people with climate crisis topics through an interactive and participatory learning experience. The platform, currently under development, represents one of the project’s main outputs and brings together technical, pedagogical, and communication expertise from all partners.
Next Steps
Looking ahead, the consortium is now focused on preparing the next strategic milestone of the project: the international training workshop for teachers, which will take place at Comenius University in Bratislava in May 2026.
This event will be a crucial opportunity to test and refine the training materials developed, promote exchange between teachers from partner countries, and strengthen schools’ capacity to integrate innovative climate education approaches.
