EcoMystery: education, innovation, and sustainability in action!

EcoMystery is the European project that brings together schools, universities, and businesses from 5 countries to experiment with innovative teaching approaches, combining gamification, escape rooms, and digital tools to engage students and teachers on climate crisis and active citizenship topics.

On 8 and 9 May, we enthusiastically held the first face-to-face meeting in Vicenza, hosted at the Polo Giovani B55 headquarters in Vicenza.
During the two days, the partners discussed the current state of the project and the first results of the data collection on educational needs and climate change teaching practices in the partner countries—key insights to guide the next project steps: the development of a training programme for teachers and the creation of both digital and physical escape rooms for students.

On this occasion, EPC involved two pilot schools from Italy:
✅ l’istituto Comprensivo Salvo D’Acquisto di Follo e Calice al Cornoviglio (SP)
✅ l’istituto Comprensivo A. Fogazzaro di Noventa Vicentina Noventa (VI)

Four teachers from the latter, actively participated in the two-day meeting, beginning an exciting journey to get to know the project and the international partners.

We firmly believe that only through collaboration among schools, businesses, research institutions, and educational communities can we prepare conscious and proactive citizens, ready to build a more sustainable future. Change starts with education!
