Support activities for the implementation and communication of the URBACT RE-GEN project.
RE-GEN is a European network of cities, funded under the URBACT Programme, which aims to support sustainable urban development and social inclusion through the empowerment of young people, particularly secondary school students from disadvantaged backgrounds. During the project, groups of young people aged 10 to 18 were involved in transforming abandoned public spaces into urban sports centers, adopting a tactical urban planning approach and incorporating green and gender equality criteria.
EPC supported the lead partner, the Municipality of Verona, in the final stages of project implementation, specifically in organizing the local public event held in Verona on December 14, 2025, and in finalizing and designing the Local Action Plan of the Municipality of Verona. This plan is one of the project’s key legacies, ensuring that the activities launched through the RE-GEN initiative are truly reflected in ordinary municipal planning.
