We are pleased to announce that the project RETES – Resilience Enhancement in Tourism through Education and Skills, designed and submitted by EPC srl, has been officially selected for funding under the Erasmus+ KA220-VET – Cooperation Partnerships in Vocational Education and Training programme.
The project, which will start on 1 December 2025 and run for a total duration of two years, has a budget of €400,000. It was selected by the Erasmus+ National Agency INAPP from over 220 applications, ranking among only 21 approved and achieving a score of 96/100. This important recognition confirms the quality of the proposal and the high value of the planned activities, aimed at strengthening the resilience of the tourism sector through training and the development of skills in emergency management and civil protection.
The partnership, coordinated by EPC, brings together seven organisations from Italy, Greece, Spain, Cyprus, and Montenegro, including vocational training providers, universities, and public institutions, ensuring a strong transnational and multidisciplinary dimension.
At a time when artificial intelligence facilitates project writing, this achievement demonstrates that the real difference is made by EPC’s long-standing experience in the design, management, and implementation of complex EU initiatives, particularly in the fields of civil protection, sustainable development, and international cooperation.
With RETES, EPC further strengthens its role as coordinator and facilitator of international networks, contributing to the creation of a safer, more resilient, and sustainable tourism sector for the future.
