EPC srl is the lead partner of RETES – Resilience Enhancement in Tourism through Education and Skills, with roles in both technical and overall management and coordination of the partnership.

Funded by the Erasmus+ Program (KA220-VET), RETES is a transnational cooperation project which brings together vocational training providers, universities, NGOs, and public institutions in Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, and Montenegro. The initiative addresses the challenges posed by climate change to the tourism sector by developing new skills in emergency management and resilience for sector operators.

Expected results include: five Local Action Plans to facilitate cooperation between tourism operators and Civil Protection operators, a multilingual digital training toolkit with open badges and micro-credentials for the recognition and use of acquired skills, and a scenario-based training format inspired by the Table Top Exercises used in Civil Protection environments. In this way, RETES will contribute to strengthening the employability, competitiveness and sustainability of European tourism.

In addition to EPC, the project partners are: European University Cyprus (Cyprus), Community Crisis Intervention (Greece), Ministranstvo Unutrasnjih Poslova Crne Gore (Montenegro), Oloklirosi(Greece), Fundacion Socialinnolabs (Spain), and Ente Nazionale Acli Istruzione Professionale (Italy).

The project has a total duration of 24 months, from December 2025 to November 2027, and a total budget of €400,000. EPC’s budget is €63,300.
